Opportunities to Get Involved
We annually participate in the Operation Christmas Child program, giving shoe boxes filled with small gifts for needy children around the world as part of an evangelistic outreach of Samaritan’s Purse.
Loaves & Fishes
NBC serves meals at the Community Hospitality Kitchen every 5th Saturday from 2- 5 PM.
Hopeline Pregnancy Resource Center
We are in partnership with other area churches to help young women and families with pro-life counseling, clothes, diapers, car seats, training medical help, and referrals.
New Milford Emergency Homeless Shelter
We share in hosting the shelter in partnership with other area churches during the winter season. We provide transportation to the shelter when held at locations off the NM green. Some volunteer throughout the season by serving as supervisors at the shelter.
A group of musicians and vocalists lead our worship every Sunday, led by Steve Clark. New talent welcome.
Church Work Days
We get together on an as-needed basis to do exterior or interior handiwork/chores around the church or at the homes of those in need.
Annual Outreach Events
VBS (vacation Bible school) is a week-long summer (mid-July) program for children ages 4-13.
Easter Egg Hunt including games and crafts and more.
Autumn Harvest Party including hayrides, food, and games.

We have several campaigns a year to gather food for the NM food bank. Every Thanksgiving we take responsibility to provide 70 Thanksgiving food baskets for the needy in our community.
We work with the residents of Butterbrook Hills Apartments with intergenerational service projects (providing Thanksgiving dinner, making greeting cards for nursing homes, etc.)
New Milford Social Services provides us with requests for needy community children’s Christmas gifts.
